History

AICO has been founded in 1981 as AICHER & CO in Ulrichskirchen, Lower Austria, offering engineering and consulting service. The company focused on commercial software development and customization, primarily in the SME realm. From 1981 to 2001 AICO was an IBM cooperation partner.

Since 2002 AICO focuses on embedded systems and reusable software components. The development of core technologies became increasingly important, including real time communication and open software architectures. This resulted in cooperations with innovative software companies and research institutes, project management for the production of embedded systems in close cooperation with specialists from telecommunication industry.

Today AICO offers design and development of embedded systems and reusable software components, furthermore, comprehensive development support, in particular on prototype solutions and system architecture design. Recently on remote and automated testing of APP integration quality.
